Portraits of New South Wales now published
Portraits of New South Wales is a colourful and vibrant new publication proudly prepared by GML Heritage in association with Mark Dunn, historian, on behalf of the Heritage Council of NSW.
The publication celebrates the 40th anniversary of the State Heritage Register (the Register), established under the Heritage Act 1977 (NSW). It showcases some of the 1700 items on the Register. They are organised into 12 themes, from our natural and built environment, to our values and beliefs, and the way we work and live in New South Wales. When combined, the stories of the cities, towns, landscapes, and people paint a multilayered picture of our state.
Portraits of New South Wales was recently launched by The Hon Gabrielle Upton MP and is available to download now.
