New Sydney headquarters
GML’s Sydney team recently moved into a fabulous new head office at 323 Castlereagh Street in Haymarket, overlooking Belmore Park and just a short walk from Central Station.
Working with office design and construct company Sheldon Interiors, we’ve created a beautiful and inspiring space that promotes strong collaboration and people connectivity.
The overall layout incorporates an expansive central kitchen and break-out area, intimate library, and a mix of open-plan, collaborative and quiet areas. A large artefact storage and processing lab accommodates the day to day needs of GML’s historical and Aboriginal archaeology teams.
Featuring luxurious dark tones, bespoke joinery and furnishings and planter boxes, the unique space incorporates hybrid working and supports workplace wellbeing.
We were fortunate to have Rowena Jarrett-Welsh from the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council perform a Welcome to Country and a smoking ceremony on our first day in the new space.
