Léonie Masson—Professional Historian
Congratulations to GML Associate Léonie Masson who was recently conferred as a member of the Professional Historians Association.
Léonie is a researcher and historian with over 20 years’ experience. Her in-depth knowledge of historical sources and research methods has been instrumental in the development of thematic and social histories, conservation management plans, heritage assessments, and heritage interpretation plans and strategies for a range of clients including City of Sydney Council, North Sydney Council, Hornsby Shire Council, Lendlease, Housing NSW, Transport for NSW and Museums of History NSW.
Léonie is part of a team of historians at GML who apply academic and field-based historical research methods to understand places, people’s stories and lived experiences in the past.
