Public Art Strategic Plan for the Northern Beaches Coast Walk on Public Exhibition

The Strategic Plan celebrates the coastal environment and its communities through art, heritage and culture. Once fully realised the Coast Walk will extend 36km from Palm Beach to Manly. It will play a vital role in connecting communities within the newly formed Northern Beaches Council.

The documents on exhibition identify themes, concepts, and a curatorial framework. Many maps show potential locations for future public artworks respectful of the natural values and scenic beauty of the coast.

Our project team included JOC Consulting, Insite Land Solutions and our Context colleagues. GML gratefully acknowledges the Northern Beaches Council staff, and Coast Walk Public Art Working Group, as well as the many community members and groups who gave generously of their time to provide input into the documents.
