Kristine Slawinski
Senior Heritage Consultant
Kristine is a heritage professional with a background in commercial interior design.
She holds a Master of Urban and Cultural Heritage from the University of Melbourne and specialises in providing heritage advice, assessments and impact statements for places of local and state heritage significance.
Kristine has complemented over 20 years’ experience in the architecture and design industry with postgraduate studies that provide a theoretical foundation for identifying, managing and conserving cultural heritage values in the built environment. Kristine joined GML in 2022 and is a keen advocate for a holistic approach to understanding, safeguarding and communicating the built heritage of our cities and places.
She has a thorough knowledge of relevant local and state legislative and statutory requirements related to heritage obligations and is able to provide nuanced advice to architects and design teams to ensure projects meet their statutory obligations. Kristine also has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and project management.
