GML proud to support the Koori Knockout

GML was proud to sponsor the men’s team Riverstone Roos, just one of more than 100 teams that competed in the NSW Aboriginal Rugby League tournament held on Darkinjung Country (Central Coast) over the October 2023 long weekend.

Known as the Koori Knockout, the four-day rugby league competition is one of the largest sporting events for First Nations peoples in Australia and brings together communities from across NSW in a celebration of sport, culture, and connection.

GML was delighted to be able to support the Riverstone Roos in their preparation and attendance at the Koori Knockout. The team didn’t get the ultimate win but played proudly.

Congratulations to this year’s champions, the Walgett Aboriginal Connection (men’s) and and the Newcastle Yowies (women’s).
