Catherine Munro is a senior heritage consultant and archaeologist with over 6 years of experience on archaeological sites throughout Greater Sydney and NSW.
She holds a Bachelor of Archaeology, majoring in Anthropology, from Macquarie University.
Catherine has practice in both historical and First Nations cultural heritage and is proficient in in undertaking archaeological excavations and providing heritage advice. She has produced and contributed to a range of archaeological reports including excavation reports, archaeological assessments, research designs, and artefact reports. The projects she has been involved in have had archaeological components ranging from local, state, and indicative national significance.
A key area of her expertise is in historical artefacts, and she is skilled in their cataloguing, analysis, and management. She is also proficient in mapping and GIS, and capable of producing accurate excavation plans, schematics, and illustrations.
