Annabel Humphreys
Heritage Consultant
Annabel Humphreys is a heritage consultant with a background in architecture and conservation theory.
She holds a Master of Heritage Conservation from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) from the University of Newcastle.
Annabel has professional experience in heritage consultancy and local government providing heritage advice, research and documentation. Her expertise includes the preparation of heritage assessments, heritage management plans, maintenance plans, heritage impact statements, opportunities and constraints analysis, fabric analysis and photographic archival recordings.
Annabel has contributed to a variety of conservation and adaptive re-use projects involving residential, commercial and public buildings in NSW. She also has a strong understanding of statutory and strategic planning processes, as well as local, state and Commonwealth legislation affecting heritage.
Annabel is interested in living heritage and integrating principles of heritage conservation into contemporary planning and design.
