Vinay Kaushal
Heritage Consultant
Vinay Kaushal is a heritage consultant with two years’ experience working in built heritage.
He holds a Master of Urbanism (Heritage Conservation) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture, India.
Vinay has worked as a heritage architect in India, followed by his current role as a heritage consultant in Sydney. He has experience in providing heritage advice and in preparing heritage assessments, archival recordings, condition analysis and opportunities and constraints reports.
Vinay has a strong interest in architectural and conservation history, materials, fabric and building defects. He is particularly interested in the adaptive re-use of historic buildings and the integration of new designs within historic settings.
Vinay is skilled in preparing measured and architectural drawings and is proficient in using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
