Transforming Canberra Theatre
GML Heritage is thrilled to be part of the winning team set to transform the Canberra Theatre Centre.
Working collaboratively with Architectus and Arup, GML will provide heritage advice to assist the design team in creating a vibrant, all-inclusive space that will become a world-class destination for artists and audiences in the heart of Canberra’s Civic and Cultural District.
GML’s Canberra team has extensive knowledge and deep understanding of Canberra’s history and its design; the team provide a multi-disciplined approach to heritage conservation and management of significant community places.
GML looks forward to working alongside the design team, Canberra Theatre Centre, ACT Government and First Nations consultants, Yerrabingin, to deliver a theatre that holds its place in the context of Canberra’s ensemble of national culture and arts buildings.
